"The power of sympathy" is generally accepted to be the work of William Hill Brown. The present title is listed among Brown's works in BAL. Half-title: Farce. Place and date of publication and printer's name suggested by Evans. Parenthesis substituted for square bracket preceding "Viz." in title transcription.
