dc.description.abstract At a town meeting March 12, 1770, James Bowdoin, Joseph Warren and Samuel Pemberton were appointed a committee to prepare a particular account of the massacre. The "Short narrative" was prepared, accepted at a town meeting held March 19, and ordered immediately printed. Errors in paging: p. 81-83 misnumbered 79-81. "Apendix containing the several depositions referred to in the preceding narrative ..."--p. [1]-80, 2nd count. With an erratum statement at foot of p. 78, and certifications of authenticity, p. 79-80. "An index to the appendix."--p. [81-83].
