Correspondence concerning the refusal of Boston to pay import duties, the retirement of the Commissioners of Customs from Boston to Castle William, and the seizure of John Hancock's vessel the Liberty. Published in continuation of two earlier collections: Copies of letters from Governor Bernard, &c. to the Earl of Hillsborough (Adams 68); and Letters to the Ministry from Governor Bernard, General Gage, and Commodore Hood (Adams 69). Imprint supplied by Adams. Advertised in the Massachusetts gazette and Boston weekly news-letter for Dec. 14, 1769.
