Junii: Ordered that the Lords be moved to joyn with this House, in nominating the Lord Wharton to be Lord Lieutenant of the county of Buckingham, in stead of the of the Lord Paget: and that this petition shall be forthwith printed. H: Elsynge, Cler: Parl: D: Com:. Thanks Parliament for public services and especiallly for Militia Ordinance. Near 100 'voluntiers' besides the trained bands appeared notwithstanding the discouragement of the Lord-Lieutenant's absence. -- Steele. Reproduction of the original in the British Library.
