Both Ashby's account (p. 1-3) and Rooke's (p. 3-5) are signed, and dated: 11th of July 1690; "The Lords Commissioners Letter to the Queen's Majesty" (p. 5-8) is signed and dated: Sheerness the 18th of July 1690, Pembrooke, Maclesfield, R. Howard, H. Goodricke, Tho. Lee; "The examinations of the captains (p. 9-26); the "Journal" (p. 27-32) is dated: from the Buoy of the Nore, the 18th of July, 1690.
