| dc.description.abstract | Actual printer's name from STC. Signatures: A-I⁴ (-I1, +[fleuron]-3[fleuron]⁴) K-Z⁴ 2A-2G⁴ [par.]² 2H-2M⁴. The first leaf and the last leaf are blank. "Of honor and honorable quarrels" has separate title page with imprint dated 1594; register is continuous. It is largely a translation of: Muzio, Girolamo. Il duello. Leaf 21 is misnumbered 17. Quires [fleuron]-3[fleuron] are intended to cancel I1, but the latter is often present. Reproduction of the original in the Henry E. Huntington Library and Art Gallery. I1 present, in facsimile. |
