dc.description.abstract Dedication signed: Tho. Heyvv., i.e. Thomas Heywood. The words "Three Iewes. .. Three Christians." are bracketed together on the title page. The plates are engraved by George Glover; nine of them (excepting that of Queen Henrietta Maria) were issued separately with verses as "The nine woemen worthys" (STC 11921.6). Reproduction of the original in the Folger Shakespeare Library.
