dc.description.abstract "The articles of composition, granted by this [sic] highnesse the Prince of Orange to the Governour Gomar Fourdine captaines, & souldiers within the towne of Breda" (caption title) has separate pagination and register. The engraved map has title "Baronnie van Breda" and imprint "In s'Graven Haghe ten huyse van Henricus Hondius. anno 1637"; it was also issued separately with pasted-on letterpress text in English (STC 13685). "Since none is called for, it may have been added only to copies Hondius sold, or it may have been added by owners"--STC. Reproduction of the original in the British Library.
