NONWARS The texts are derived from--not always as the editors have them--from the following editions of fourteen alliterative poems. 3 = yogh 7 = thorn or (in A only and then not often, eth) T1 in the right margin indicates that the text was emended by editors for reasons other than meter. T2 means the text was emended by me with support from another manuscript. T3 means the text was emended by my conjecture on grounds of meter or syntax.
