| dc.description.abstract | The plain text version forms part of the Louvain corpus of modern English drama deposited in 1983. The text does not conform to modern standards of text encoding. The text is all capitals, with words broken over line boundaries, undocumented markup characters, and numeric codes for the identity of the players. An updated, reformatted and corrected version created by Richard Vaughan-Payne was added in 2018. This version was checked against a copy of the 1972 edition published by Davis-Poynter Limited in the British Library. It is included here in MS Word and PDF versions, along with a facsimile of the title page, which indicated important information regarding copyright and performing rights. |
