dc.description.abstract Caption title. The two addresses follow the introductory remarks, each signed: S. Bradstreet. Caption title on p. 2 reads in part: ".. The humble address of the President and Councel for the safety of the people, and conservation of the peace." and is dated: May 20. 1689. Address on p. 4, dated June 6. 1689, expresses gratitude to King William and Queen Mary "for the rescue and deliverance of the English nation from the miseries of popery and arbitrary government".
