The Marquesse of Ormonds letter to His Majestie King Charls II. Wherein is truly related the manner of Collonel Jones sallying out of Dublin, Aug. 2. 1649. with the loss on both sides, and the prisoners taken. With the true state and condition of his army at this present before Dublin, which is beseiged with 40000 horse and foot. And the taking of the two strong castles of Ballishannon and Athy, Aug. 8.
