Annotations on Thomason copies: (669.f.14[52]) "The evill Member is Wm: Lenthall ye Speaker of the House of Commons"; (669.f.14[57]) "This Evill member is wm. Lenthall Esq.: speaker of ye hous of Commons"; "July. 16. 1649". A variant, Wing J625, which has same setting of type as Wing J624, lacks 'Edward Jenkes' at end. Reproductions of the originals in the London University library (Goldsmiths'-Kress) and the British Library (Thomason Tracts).
