dc.description.abstract On p. 503, "translated into English by E.M.B.", i.e. Edmund Maria Bolton, who signs his pseudonym "Philanactophil" to the dedication. Translation of: Epitome rerum Romanarum. The title page is engraved and signed "Sim Pass scu.", i.e. Simon van de Pass; the frieze contains the words "The face of L. Florus histories". Running title reads: L. Florus his histories. The last leaf is blank. Reproduction of the original in the Henry E. Huntington Library and Art Gallery.
