The edition of the text follows the accepted practices of French philologists as developed in M. Roques, "Règles pratiques pour l'édition des anciens textes français et provençaux", Bibliothèque de L'École des Chartes 87 (1926), 453-459 and ld., "Établissement de règles pratiques pour l'édition des anciens textes français et provençaux," Romania 52 (1926), 243-249. The electronic edition will form the basis of a printed critical edition. A new edition of recension 1 of Book III of Jean Froissart's Chronicles, and of his Chronique de Flandre. |
