    Severall letters from Colonell Morgan Governour of Gloucester, and Colonell Birch. Fully relating the maner of the taking of the city and garrison of Hereford, with the number slain on both sides, and the particular circumstances at the gaining thereof. With a perfect list of the names of the prisoners taken therein. Die Martis 23. Decemb. 1645.     Col: Morgan Governor of Glocester's letter to the Honoble William Lenthal Esq; Speaker to the Honorable House of Commons. Concerning the total routing and taking of Sir Jacob Ashley and his army upon the Wold, intended to joyn with His Majesties army at Oxford. Together with a list of the persons of quality, and officers in commission taken in that fight by the Parliaments forces.
