By His Excellency Richard Earl of Bellomont, Captain General and Governour in Chief of His Majesties Province of New-York, &c. A PROCLAMATION

WHEREAS I have thought it fit, for His Majesties Service. That the present Assembly of this Province of New-York, be Dissolved, and that a New One be forth-with Called, I do therefore Declare, That the present Assembly of this Province is Dissolved, and it is hereby Dissolved accordingly.

Given at New-York the Second Day of April, 1698. and in the Tenth Year of the Reign of Our Soveraign Lord, WILLIAM the Third, by the Grace of God, of England, Scotland, France and Ireland, King, Defender of the Faith, &c.
