WHereas on Humble Address hath been m [...] unto Ʋs by Our Commons Assembled in Parliament, That We by Our Proclamation would please to Promise a Reward of Fi [...]e thousand Pounds to such Person or Persons who shal Bring in t [...] Person of James Duke of Monmouth Alive or Dead; And whereas the said James Duke of Monmouth stands Attainted [...]f High Treason by Act of Parliment; We do her [...]by, by the A [...]vice of Our Privy Council, Publish and Declare Our Royal Pr [...]mise, and Our Will and Pleasure, That whosoever shall Bring in [...]he Body of the said James Duke of Monmouth, either Dead or Alive, shall Recei [...] and Have the Reward of Fi [...] thousand Pounds, to be forthwith Payed by Our Hig [...] Treasures of England, for [...]ch his or their Service.
