Essex.
Robert Earle of Essex &c. Captaine Generall of the Army, Imployed for the defence of the
Protestant Religion, King, Parliament, and Kingdome.
IT is my Expresse VVill and Pleasure, And I doe hereby streightly Charge and Command all Officers and Souldiers of Horse, Foote, and Dragoones, belonging to the Army, under my Command, that they and every of them, after Proclamation hereof made in London, or else where, doe forthwith repaire to their severall Colours, and Quarters, upon paine of Death.
Given under my Hand and Seale at Armes this Twenty Eight day of February, 1643.
