THis Catalogue consists principally of the Library of the Right Honourable George late Earl of Bristol, a great part of which were the Curio­sities collected by the learned Sr. Kenelme Digby. Together with the Library of another Learned person.

The Auction will begin on Munday the 19th day of April, 1680. at the Golden Lyon, over against the Queens Head Ta­vern in Pater-noster-Row, punctually at Nine of the Clock in the Morning, and Two in the Afternoon; and there con­tinue Daily untill all the Books are Sold: wherefore it is Desired that Gentlemen will appear Precisely at the Hours appointed.

[Page]The CONDITIONS are these:

I. That He who Bids most is the Buyer; and if any manifest Difference arise, which the Company cannot De­cide, then the same Book or Books shall be forthwith Ex­posed a second time.

II. That all the Books in the Catalogue, not otherwise Expressed (for ought we know) are Perfect; but if any of them appear to be otherwise before they be taken away, the Buyer shall have his Choice of Taking or Leav­ing them.

III. That the Money for the Book or Books Bought, is to be Paid by the Buyer within One Month after the AUCTION is ended, at the Place where they are Sold: Where, upon Payment thereof, the Book or Books will be Delivered for the Month aforesaid: And for Conveni­ence of such Persons as live remote, One Month more will be allowed for Delivery of the Remainder of the Books: The Place, either where the Books were Sold, or Benjamin Took's a Bookseller at the Ship in St. Paul's Church-yard.

We desire all Gentlemen who design to Buy, would take the pains to Inform themselves of the Condition of these Books before the Auction begins; they being general­ly Fair, and a very great Number curiously Bound.
