❧ A Proclamation for the further Proroguing of the Parliament.
WHereas at Our last Session of Parliament, the same Our Parliament was Prorogued by Vs, vntill the twentieth day of October then next comming, and now neere at hand; wee, by the aduice of Our Priuie Councell, for diuers weightie reasons Vs especially moouing, which concerne Our affaires both at home and abroad, doe heereby publish and declare Our Royall Will and Pleasure, That the same Parliament shall be againe Prorogued, from the said twentieth day of October, vntill the twentieth day of Ianuary now next ensuing: whereof the Lords Spirituall and Temporall, Knights, Citizens, and Burgesses, and all others whom it may concerne, may heereby take notice, and order their affaires accordingly; Wee letting them know that Wee will not at the said twentieth day of October expect the attendance of any, but such onely as being then in, or about Our Cities of London or Westminster, may attend the making of the said Prorogation, as heeretofore in like case beene accustomed.
